Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Bee Honey – Gold

This bee honey is part of Goodfolks Regional Collection featuring three Ayurvedic bee honey varieties. This exquisite honey is sourced from the lush tropical vegetation of Sri Lanka’s wet zone areas and boasts a rich gold color with delicate floral sweetness and voluminous texture.

The main pollen and nectar sources are Rubber (leaf buds), Kithul Palm, Sri Lankan Olives, and Kon. Rubber buds tend to be in season from March – May and is when this bee honey season is in full swing. As such this variety offers a very limited supply.

Sri Lankan Bee Honey is Ayurvedic in Nature, thanks to the high density of pollen and nectar from medicinal plants found throughout the island. The tropical climate naturally keeps the moisture content low, avoiding the need for heating, which can damage the honey’s nutritional value.

Sri Lankan bee honey has superior qualities, such as higher antioxidant activity, low moisture content, and higher mineral content compared to honey from other countries.

To enjoy maximum health benefits, Ayurvedic practitioners recommend consuming one to two teaspoons of Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Bee Honey – Amber mixed with lukewarm water every morning. Goodfolks is dedicated to promoting regenerative agriculture practices and providing premium quality, sustainable, and ethically-sourced products. Try Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Bee Honey – Gold today and savor its unique taste and health benefits.

Goodfolks Impact

Goodfolks sources high-quality bee honey exclusively from trained, registered farmers using regenerative agriculture and sustainable practices. Our unique sourcing method only utilizes bee boxes in home gardens of forest buffer zones, eliminating harm to wild bee colonies caused by sourcing directly from forests.

Sri Lankan bee honey is integral to Ayurveda, but concerns around quality exist due to early harvesting, pasteurization, and mixing with wasp honey. Goodfolks addresses these concerns with quality checks using a Refractometer at collection points and testing larger batches at accredited facilities like ITI. We aim to set the standard for Sri Lankan bee honey, ensuring our customers receive an unmatched product.

Goodfolks practices Treatment-free beekeeping, which does not involve the use of synthetic or chemical treatments to manage bee colony diseases and pests. Instead, natural methods are used to promote healthy bee colonies. This beekeeping approach is becoming more popular among beekeepers who prioritize the well-being of their colonies and the environment.

Choose Goodfolks for sustainable, high-quality honey that supports local communities and the environment. Our ethical sourcing and production practices make a positive impact, offering the best possible product for our customers.
