Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Bee Honey – Gold

This bee honey is part of Goodfolks Regional Collection featuring three Ayurvedic bee honey varieties. This exquisite honey is sourced from the lush tropical vegetation of Sri Lanka’s wet zone areas and boasts a rich gold color with delicate floral sweetness and voluminous texture.

The main pollen and nectar sources are Rubber (leaf buds), Kithul Palm, Sri Lankan Olives, and Kon. Rubber buds tend to be in season from March – May and is when this bee honey season is in full swing. As such this variety offers a very limited supply.

Sri Lankan Bee Honey is Ayurvedic in Nature, thanks to the high density of pollen and nectar from medicinal plants found throughout the island. The tropical climate naturally keeps the moisture content low, avoiding the need for heating, which can damage the honey’s nutritional value.
